CSALT ROAD TRIPS

The highlight of the CSALT Academy experience is our much-anticipated ROAD TRIPS. Here our students travel from the CSALT Academy HQ to join one another for a week of surfing, exploring, hanging at the bakery and catching the sunset with a few guitars on the beach. As you can imagine our ROAD TRIPS well and truly live up to their name providing laughs and memories that will last a lifetime. There is a focus on seeking God together and through the relationships that form, and time that is shared, our students are challenged at a soul level and stretched, grown and encouraged into the shapes they are destined for.

ROAD TRIP SCHEDULE 2023

SUNSHINE COAST March 26th - April 6th

Get out your logs and your fishes out and enjoy the blue-green waves of Australia’s Sunshine Coast! From the gentle knee slappers of National Parks to the rippable walls and tube sections of The Boiling Pot, our CSALT Sunny Coast adventure is a worthy first port of call… CSALT Academy students will road trip from their home on Phillip Island to Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast for the Christian Surfers Australia National Gathering then onwards to many unnamed destinations for a week of surfing, exploring, and chilling.

‘ROTE’ INDONESIA JUNE 22TH - 30TH (Prospective date)

CSALT ACADEMY students wave goodbye to the penguins and the icebergs that have begun to form at Phillip Island and board a plane for more temperate waters; Rote Island. Rote is a tropical paradise in the Timor Sea about 500 nautical miles north of Darwin. It is home to beautiful people, lots of sun and palm trees, and glassy blue tropical barrels. On Rote, our students help serve the Mercy Huts foundation at their resort ‘Rote Island Huts’ which is a philanthropic business founded to educate and build capacity in business and tourism for the local people. They’ll also get a good chance to catch some waves they will never forget.

‘AOTEAROA’ NEW ZEALAND NOVEMBER 22TH - 30TH (Prospective Date)

Our journey ends in the land of the ‘Long white cloud’. A place of mystery and wonder, black sand and waves you couldn’t even dream existed. The CSALT family conclude their adventures for 2022 for a graduation trip to New Zealand. There they will be taking in the scenery, making new friends, and surfing epic new locations. A perfect end to the perfect year and definitely one to cross off your dream list…
